And yes, there is enough material for checkmate to happen here. Pawn promotes to a bishop, king goes into a corner with the bishop next to it and white checkmates with the knight ala

The stupid FIDE rule of draw takes 'possible moves' into account instead of 'forced mate'. They don't even tell why.

Search up my old posts with keyword 'draw' and you will get what I said there. I have previously explained and put forward my system which would work perfectly in case of such game endings. Engines are better cause they give evaluation correctly as 0.0 and they only falter in fortress positions.
