Lichess Game of the Month November - Contest

<Comment deleted by user>

An aggressive and somewhat risky attack on the kingside, against an opponent rated 750 points higher than me produced this nice mate after black made some defensive errors. Saccing the c3 knight on move 18 for the d pawn to create threats on the kingside, it was never going to be a quiet, positional 1.d4 game! Declining the free bishop on move 20 and going for the pawn with check instead to keep the initiative (blunder apparently but whatever SF), I kept going all or nothing. Black fell for the poisoned exchange sac on move 24 to open the h file for me, after that the black king was running out of places to hide.

I got a cool mating net, after using a tactic to win a piece.
got that Draw thing, when opponent can get a Draw by sacrificing the rook, I almost failed for it, there was a moment , where he could really make draw, but he didn't mentioned it
The best I have this month is a positional squeeze in the Ruy Lopez. I'm getting a better understanding of the depth in the Spanish - one mistake on my side which provokes a blunder by my opponent and then its classic powerful hanging pawn play.

14. g4!!

This game probably reflects some of the best chess of my life.
Being able to play with this mindset is what keeps me at the board.
Definitely some of the most chessiest chess that I've ever chessed.

Highly creative.
Enterprising.
Spirited.
Interesting.

Simon! What a stunning game of the month submission. You folded this guy up in like 11 moves! Have you considered taking up Origami?
