Do atheists really think atheism is a religion?

Ahem.
Atheism does not simply mean the lack of religion. It means the lack of belief in any number of supreme beings. Depending on how one defines religion-- and there are many, many possible definitions-- it is possible to be a religious athiest.

Atheism isn't actually a religion, it's just belief.
