I have a few married female friends. And ALL (no exceptions) of them are miserable and long for the freedom of living for themselves. In today's male dominant society i feel that :
1. Marriage is slavery
2. All Married women are slaves
3. All married men are slave-owners.
4. And bridesmaids are essentially SS guards in taffeta
I was lucky enough to be liberated in 2012 ! Thank you California law for allowing me to keep his house !!

@TheBeastWithin Not for me ! Slavery is a mechanism where the owner gets disproportionate benefits and does little (if any) work. The "owned" does most of the work and gets very little respect and no compensation.

where you learn about it? there are two types of relationships one is the toxic and the other one is beautiful relationship from the beginning of any animals that need to mate they have kind of way to show the affection. in huan way in short story male provide and female give and if the both understand they way how to achieve it it will become beautiful relationship. the other type is toxic marriage for example there are many women who want have a rich man without doing anything and there are men who always asking woman they love to do what they tell them to do, but if you say marriage is the new slavery for thats like a bs they just bad relationship between each other and maybe you need bigger number to come up with that term not just your friends.
