How to analyze faster (provided I'm able to analyze when I take my time)

Hello people

My Lichess rating for correspondence games (2300) is a lot higher than the ones for blitz (1780) and rapid (1910). I'm able to analyze, but it takes me a lot of time.

So much time that the standard FIDE time control (1h30 + 30min + 30 s/move) seems too fast to me: I don't play very well OTB and my FIDE standard rating went under 1700.

I started two months ago to play a blitz per day in order to speed up but that doesn't seem very effective.

What can I do, given that my target is to perform at FIDE standard OTB? Other people seem more homogeneous in their ratings in different time controls.
I think that rating difference is normal.
If my goal is to increase my speed in chess (online, particularly), I would:

1. Play a lot of chess games daily (specifically, more than 10 blitz games), and analyze them afterwards.
2. Do a lot of puzzle rushes, as I need to sharpen my reflexes for simpler tactics.
3. Ensure I am well-versed in my openings, so that at least I can make 5, or even 10 moves before 10 seconds have passed on my clock.

However, I am not sure how this would translate to your OTB rating. We have players like Hikaru, who plays Bullet a lot and has risen to the top 10, and many others who do not. It is better to work with a coach if you can.
OK thanks, even if I don't really agree for the normality: I've seen such a gap in none of the profiles I've looked at (typically my opponents).

I do puzzles but don't rush them. I'll try.

Unfortunately I won't grant so much time on chess (more than 10 blitz games per day? That's about 1.5 hour!). Maybe that's the problem...
You need to see what are your biggest time sinks and improve on them so it becomes more instinctive.

- Do you take too long calculating tactics? Do puzzles and pattern recognition will become faster
- Are endgames a time sink? Study the most common ones so you know what setup to go for in a rook endgame or what moves to consider in a pawn endgame.
- Your first 20 moves are really slow? Refine your openings with Stockfish, youtube videos and check some GM games to understand them better.
- Lacking plans in the middlegame? This is the biggest time sink of all for most players, the more you study middlegame the easier EVERY middlegame becomes, because similar ideas can apply. Check your games for what plans the engine saw that you didn't and see how to make progress slowly in a position that you struggled with.

Once you figure out your main time sink and fix it, you will suddenly be able to play much faster.
I cant help but wonder what do you think during your time? I cant think for more than 3 minutes before making a good move or blunder
Thanks emaN-drawkcaB.

@Ben10Tenyson: I can describe you approximately. I think of one or more certain plans for me and my opponent, I confront them with scenarios on several moves to see what it gives, I go back and forth between them for adjustments and comparison. And I'm still able to blunder if I don't double check.

10 blitzes rarely last more than 45-50 minutes, but 5 per day is sufficient. try the 3+2 which might suit you well. analyzing quickly partly requires knowing how to make decisions quickly, so I recommend the puzzle race to go further with @lazzaknight words, because you will compare your results with others. favor a form of logic, rather than the best possible move, it is a psychological effect, because you are too perfectionist and it is your Achilles heel since the others are not durable enough but faster than you. Reduce your opening choices to 3-4 per side, and avoid traps or trick openings as you are already very good without them, you simply need to cultivate your reflex speed. Not necessary to work with a coach since you have enought knowledge to have 2300 in correspondence . Greeting

Lol, there is a begin everywhere )) 17 is pretty good for a first Time ! Do 5 race per day during a week and after this "training week", 10 race per day until you no longer see the need for it except the pleasure
