Castling bug

Well, i'm not sure if it is a bug of if it is deliberate, but if you click on the king and then later on click on the rook, lichess castles on that side. This has resulted in me castling on the wrong side countless times now. Can we please have a means to turn this off please?

For example, a king on e1 and a rook on a1. If I click on the king on e1 (because i'm thinking about castling say) and then change my mind and want to play rook d1 instead, it is not possible to do this without lichess automatically castling Queenside as soon as you touch the rook. This is obviously deeply irritating as usually there is a specific reason why castling queenside is bad, that is why i changed my mind and just want to bring the rook to the centre instead.

What i don't understand is why clicking e1 and then a1 would instigate castling at all. The king does not move to a1 when you castle on that side, It moves to c1. Would it be possible to add a setting so i can turn this off please as i have lost a dozen or more games like this.

Cheers
James :)
Ah I see, it is needed for 960. Ok i will just have to remember to deselect the king by clicking another piece inbetween. It's a bit of a distraction though. :(
