I just started playing chess. I love the game, however I find when I play other people I never win. I have a hard time playing more experienced players, because I can't develop a good strategy or learn anything. Any advice?

When you make a seek in the lobby you can request players in any given rating range, that way only people in the range you want can accept your seek.
Be welcome to this fantastic game. There's a bar when you seek for new games, and there you can select the range of rating of your opponnents. If you choose people around 100-200 difference rating points only, your chances of winning are bigger. Enjoy.
Select players from below your level up to a little bit stronger. Don't play only weak players and avoid too strong ones.
How about setting your match ratings to maximum 1200? Or maybe a bit less?
