This lichess site is made for improvement fun and to test skills around the world but there are some players that hate to lose their rating and dont want rematch for a valid reason
What is the big deal? Move on and play somebody else. There are plenty of players here.
Some people need to have a rest after game.
People might have many reasons for it (having a rest, getting distracted, etc.), but why does it have to be a bad one? Just move on and play another one.
This site is full of rematch day dreamers who bother others with their ideal of fairness (like those takeback dudes). After a finished game you have 0.000 commitments towards anyone which is fair enough. Case closed.

There are innumerous reasons for not accepting a rematch.
Tired of losing = valid reason lol .. in addition to the other ones.
Some people have lives outside of chess...
