Chess Titans?

@DVRazor It is well known that strong players have big problems to evaluate weaker players accurately. The strenght of CT gets actually even better when you win a lot of games against it.

cheers!

No, and I am not going to do that. CT got me interested in computer engines and thats why i still use it :) But why don't you do it yourself? Many programms can calculate the ELO strenght based on wins against another engine.
@Straider , look at that game again (I blitzed it under 5 mins) and a classic game (90+30) I played against a 1500-rated opponent. That's what happens when one tries to be too aggressive and intentionally complicates the position against a weaker opponent. I was lucky to win because my opponent got into time trouble and couldn't finish me off. Yes, I was a bit weaker back then, but he did find many very good moves. 1500-s are tough!

Chess Titans level 10 can beat me soundly.
Although, it takes even longer for its moves than I do!
Maybe if I had more patience I would beat it, especially since people claim it collapses after 18 move or so, but I would give it higher than 1500, at least in blitz
@DVRazor I indeed did! I started when I was around 17 and have been playing non stop. Lately I've been taking lessons from an IM, and I was a teacher of the game for sometime. I've played and studied for a few hours a day for the last 4-5 years now. If I hadn't improved in doing that, I probably would have dismissed the game all together. In regards to Chess Titans, 1500 (to me at least) seems a bit low. I can however, understand why you came to that conclusion based on how it played against you. Dropping piece after piece, leaving itself tactically vulnerable, and the several opening inaccuracies such as 6...Bg4!? 7. h3, Bd7!? I believe the strength varies depending on how often you play it, and how good of a PC one has. It seems difficult to put an accurate strength on it. If it was based solely on your game however, 1500 seems accurate. Based on the game against me, I'd say 1700-1800, and against Stockfish around 1600.
